The 24th Annual Cliff Walk for A.L.S. will be held virtually in 2020 due to the COVID pandemic and public health restrictions in place.
An amazing 23 teams walked 7 miles at a location of their choosing to raise much-needed funds to help patients and families living with ALS in New England.
Thank you SO MUCH to everyone who walked, raised funds, bought a brick, or donated to our 24th Annual Cliff Walk for ALS.
Now more than ever the patients and families we serve have needed our help, and this event was, as always, the most important thing we do all year. Despite the challenges presented by COVID, most of our supporters came through, many of them stronger than ever.
We are proud to report that we have raised over $120,000. Although we did not meet our goal of $150,000, we are humbled to have done this well during the pandemic and--again--we thank everyone who helped make this happen.
This year's top fundraising team was Team David. The Dorfmans and team knock the ball out of the park year after year and managed to beat their fundraising total from 2019, no small feat under the circumstances.
This Little Light and Team Georgios have remained in a dead heat for second place, and third place is Ellen's Team.
Twelve teams raised at least $1000 to qualify for the XBox One drawing. Karen Brown was our lucky winner! Thanks again to the Azinger family for donating our prize!
Our virtual 50/50 Raffle brought in $2200, with 1100 going to the foundation and $1100 to our winner, Erin Kulda. Erin is a long-time supporter of the foundation and we are beyond happy to report that she graciously donated her winnings back to us. Thank you Erin!!!
Brick Ceremony Held
We held a small brick ceremony at our ALS Family Tree in Buzzards Bay on the morning of our originally scheduled walk, September 13th.
