Paintball Tournament Hits the Mark

Despite heavy rainfall throughout the day, the 3rd Annual “Take Aim at A.L.S.” Paintball Fundraiser in Honor of Grace Probert, attracted approximately 70 participants and raised $3,400 for the fight against Lou Gehrig’s Disease. The event was held at Cape Cod Paintball in Bourne on Saturday, June 3, 2006.

Special thanks to John Pimental at Cape Cod Paintball for putting together a great fundraising package ensuring the success of this event. We cannot thank him and his staff enough for their kindness. We’d also like to thank Prime Time Pizza in Pocasset and A&L Portable Toilets of Teaticket for their support and generosity.

The driving force behind the event, Grace Probert of Mashpee, suffers from the fatal neuromuscular disease. Probert, a mother of two young children recently celebrated her fortieth birthday and has been fighting A.L.S. for 5 years.
