Thanks to our supporters, on Sunday, September 11, 2016, we raised over $210,000 for the fight against A.L.S. These much needed funds will benefit our Foundation's In House Patient Programs as well as research headed by ALS Therapy Development Institute and Dr. Robert Brown at UMass Medical Center.

Over 1,200  participants of all ages and abilities came together with a common goal, to help patients today and find a cure for A.L.S. in the future.

Despite being overcast with scattered showers early in the day, the weather didn't seem to bother our resilient walkers. They came, they walked and they made a difference despite the wind and rain. See all photos from the day

By the afternoon it had cleared up and the fundraising continued with our basket and ballon raffles and our heads or tails game. The kids enjoyed meeting our new friends from Cosplayers for a Cause and gave the bounce houses a work out while some competitive tug-of-war was underway.

We were happy to see such a large crowd and thank you all for spending the day with us at Buzzards Bay Park.

Thank you to our generous event sponsor's Lenny & Tony Ferrara of Superior Rail & Iron Works, Inc.

For the kids we have Brian and Kara Faria for first place. Nick Coolen came in second and Team Green finished as our third place fundraiser.

We would like to thank all the teams for their fundraising efforts as well as our generous volunteers, sponsors and staff for all their hard work and dedication.

Thank you, as well,  to all of the raffle donors, the businesses who donated food for the cookout, and to the Mass Maritime Academy and the Wareham Junior ROTC for their help throughout the day.

We are optimistic about the future of combating A.L.S. with your help. The more funds we raise, the more families will benefit and patients will have their needs met.

We would like to thank the following for your generosity
