President and Co-Founder/ Mary Ann Singersen
Mary Ann lost her father Edward J. Sciaba, Sr. to Lou Gehrig’s Disease in 1998. She began volunteering in the A.L.S community soon after, using her administrative background to raise funds and assist patients with their financial difficulties. She and co-founder Donna Jordan met through their volunteerism and decided to create the kind of organization they wished had been available when their loved ones were battling this disease. Together they formed the A.L.S. Family Charitable Foundation in 2001. Originally from the Boston area, Mary Ann has lived on the Cape for 19 years and enjoys spending time at the beach in the summer and being an active part of the community.
Patient Services Coordinator / Deborah Bell
Multi–Media Director / Jeremie CroninJeremie joined the staff in 2012 after finishing his Bachelors degree in Visual Communications/Graphic Design at the New England Institute of Art in Brookline, MA. He is involved with creating all of our marketing materials for fundrasing events, our print and online newsletters, as well as maintaining our social media presense. In his spare time, Jeremie likes Deep Sea fishing, cooking, and kayaking.
Administration/Development / Fran Tyning
Fran began woking for the Foundation in July of 2013. An active volunteer in the Barnstable Community for over 20 years, she is an advocate of networking and passionate about helping others. Fran recently obtained her Associates Degree in Criminal Justice which aids in her continued work within the community. She brings her varied experiences in the non-profit sector to the Foundation. Out of the office, Fran enjoys kayaking, painting and spending time with her family and friends.
